Communications Committee
MANDATE
The Communications Committee:
• co-ordinates and ensures the production of the Local newsletter. The newsletter includes reports by the President, Vice-Presidents, Treasurer, Committee Chairs, and Business Agent.
• encourages members-at-large to provide pertinent submissions for the newsletter and web site.

COMMITTEE ACTIVITY
Meetings
The committee meets once a month to deal with communications issues and to work on various projects.
Newsletter
Deadline for the newsletter is generally the first Friday of each month that the newsletter is printed.
The newsletter deadlines for 2010 are:
Friday, June 4
Thursday, September 2
Thursday, October 7
Friday, November 5
Newsletter submissions from members should be sent as early as possible by email to office(at)cupe2950.ca.
Web site
The committee is responsible for the overall maintenance of the CUPE 2950 web site. Notices can be sent to the Union Office. The committee does updates and maintenance at least once a week.
